Byebye my trusty workhorse, hello hot chili pepper !
Morning my mum gave me a surprise !!!
The best mee siam in the world, by my loving mother !!!
Since it was a Sunday and no soccer, decided to go M1 @ Paragon to check whether my line had expired.I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF ~!@#$%^&*() M1, wish i can jump over to Starhub.
Reached M1 and was surprised that my contract had expired long long ago !!! Then we went down to Plaza Singapura to port my M1 line to Starhub. Starhub was crowded, however their excellent customer service gave me a queue number which registered me to their SMS system. When it approaching my Q number, the system would SMS me. Then we went Daiso to walk around. Soon received an sms to go down the shop.
Spoke to the staff I wanted to port M1 over to Starhub and get HTC Diamond. The issue is now to close the deal, they needed to take in my HP then they issue me the new phone. As my charger and stylus were a home, we reached a consensus to come down on Wednesday to copy my data in old phone and pass them the old charger and stylus. Excellent service by Starhub's staff Mr Zul.

How could anyone not eat Ayam Panggangwhen you are at Plaza Singapura !!!
My old box front view
Rear View
HTC Diamond's box
HTC very creative to design the box like a diamond. Sleek and sexy !!!
Inside waiting to unleashed the Jewel!!!
Diamond and ear-piece

WARNING LOOKING AT THE BELOW PICTURE MIGHT CAUSE RAGING HORMONES AND ENOMOROUS APPETITE !!!
11th Oct marks the last class for my Effective Communication lesson. I would definitely miss the very interesting tutor who could make such boring lesson so lively and interesting with his life experiences.
After class me, Kai and Kai's friend Rachel met up to head for JB. She was having her make lessons that day. I wanted to took bus to Bukit Batok then take MRT to Kranji and take 170 to JB.
Kai mentioned can go opposite take bus to Jurong East interchange where there would be a bus to JB also, its much faster. We then took the bus heading towards Jurong.

Bus No 3 @ Jurong East Bus Interchange However its going to Gelang Patah not Larkin.

The bus had arrived.
The bus design is so world class ! At the rear, the middle area has no chair. So poor Kai paid $4 to sit on the engine. You can hear him shouting when the bus jerks. LOL !!!
Very expensive bus ticket to unknown destination.
The bus was travelling on AYE and heading towards Tuas. I told Kai, i got a feeling the bus is heading Tuas 2nd Link. Kai said no lar going Woodlands. Then me and Rachel bet with him who ever loses the bet treat lunch. Agreed.
20mins later after passing the factories. We arrived at Tuas checkpoint. Next we arrived at the Malaysia customs. There were 5 Singaporean passengers, so we had to fill in the white card. I was the last to be checked by the customs officer.
When I stepped out, i saw that familiar yellow bus zoomed passed me !!! For the next 30mins, without roaming, I left cold, lonesome, helpless and hungry. Finally the next bus came and soon boarded it. The next problem is where would the 2 alight? The bus system is such that it can stop anywhere for passengers to board and alight. Luckily my intuition was correct, I reached the terminal and noticed the 2 familiar faces.
There we took another bus terminating at Larkin near City Square. It was an arduous and cold 1h journey to Larkin. The route seemed to take us touring the state of Johore!
Chinese school
Grazing cows.
Small coffeshop along a junction.
After 1h of bus ride, we finally reached the familiar site of the JB and City Square. We alighted and went to change money. Initally wanted to have Japanese for lunch which many people recommended good. However had just started business and told us to come back 1h time. We then had lunch at Kenny Rogers. First time eating Kenny Rogers.
Rachel's order - Baked Potatoes, coleslaw, pasta, and mashed potatoes.
Kai and my order - Quarter chicken in original sauce, coleslaw, pasta and cheese macaroni. The chicken is nice with that unique Kenny Roger's recipe sauce however the macaroni is abit hard but the cheese is yummy !!!
Our orders also came with 1 muffins each. 2 original/butter and 1 chocolate. Only the butter/original is nice.
Chocolate muffin, not nice, no chocolate smell and taste.

Next we headed basement to check out the Japanese restaurant. We were informed that business would start in evening. A disappointment. Just when we were about to leave, we saw the restaurant opposite serving dishes on a stone. The concept is very unique and we decided to try as the recommended Tom Yum dish looked delicious.
I ordered seafood tom yum soup kway teow, Kai order Salmon spaghetti and Rachel ordered a seafood platter to share.

First up the seafood platter consisting of - Fried Rice, a large piece of salmon, 3 scallops, 3 tiger prawns and french fries.

My tom yum kway teow soup. After tasted it, found the soup got no kick and not spicy enough. However the serving is large and full of ingredients.
WACK AR !!! Think the salmon and prawns overcooked, wasted.
Salmon Spaghetti.
I was so damn full when the 2 of them couldn't eat anymore. See la Kai, ask you don;t order tomatoes noodles liaoz.
For the next few hours we walked around City Square. Surprisingly today so crowded as compared to previous time we went. Then we decided to chill at Starbucks, I did not order any drinks, still stuffed from the heavy lunch.

Kai the spokesperson for Tora, a chocolate with a free toy. Our childhood candy. I think you cannot find this is Singapore.
Next its dinner at Da Ma Hua Yuan (Chinese pronunciation Big Horse Garden). This place is a hawker centre with many Singaporeans patronizing, evident with the SG plate cars. I remembered I came once with Sandi and gang for dinner.
First dish Kang Kong and Cuttlefish. The cuttlefish serving is generous, too bad my sis is not here.
Kai with his shocked expression after ordered some exotic fruit juice.
Sambal Sotong not nice and very spicy. I found it to be not even cooked.
Stingray, did not try this dish.
Best dish Cereal King Prawns. The prawns are huge and meat tastes good !!!
Second best dish Black Pepper Crayfish.
Kang Kong
More to come.
Black pepper deer meat, doesn't taste good also. Huge disappointment.

Group photos with the food.
Our crazy orders, not forgetting the heavy double lunch we had earlier, not yet digested !!!
Look at how big is the cereal prawns !!!
The prawns looked even bigger compared to her face. Definitely worth the money.
Special drinks from left - Apple + Orange juice, passion fruit juice and dragon fruit juice.

Game over for all of us. Think the next few days I am going vegetarian !!!
Then we took at taxi back to City Square and walked to the immigration. There boarded the bus to Woodlands and home.

Food Galore
Apologies to my regular readers, due to busy work commitments, study and biking no time blog LOL !!!
2 weeks ago Friday evening.
It was also a first for Singapore hosting the World First Night F1 race.
That evening after work met up with Jimmy and Kelvin Lee. XX gotten free F1 passes so that evening was watching the F1 heats, lucky ass !
Everywhere jam buey tahan already late for 1h then Jimmy told me to met him at Zara beside Wheelock Place.
Jimmy had already decided on a bag to be used for his project presentation and work. The bag design was not bad and price affordable. Then we headed to Far East to met up with Kelvin Lee. Reached there everywhere long q, so decided to go Shaw to eat subway. (I hate breads !) When we reached there also long q, then saw a japanese restaurant Tonkichi and settled for dinner there. During dinner, we were like SAN GU, LIU PO and DA YI MA. Gossiping and bitching reporting to Kelvin haha.

Jimmy's order Terkiyaki Bento Set

My order Jumbo Pork Cutlet

Kelvin's order some pork cutlet.

You must grind the sesame seed, producing a very fragrant smell and pour the special Japanese sauce. Dip your meat with the sauce. We finished 1 pot of the sauce, seems the food too dry to eat.

Kelvin busying SMSing girls LOL
After dinner, we headed to Centrepoint Mac to chill out. Then around 1130pm XX called to say he is around Plaza Sing and would be coming over.
Second round of gossiping and bitching till 0230am.
Wait the bloody NR bus service for 40mins, Jimmy next day still got final project presentation good luck. Reached home lie on bed already 4am shagged !

Selamat Hari Raya
Finally along awaited break for me.
My mum, sis and I had breakfast near beach road.
Next we went Bugis to walk around and headed the basement to look at the wide variety of food.
We bought the mango ice-cream muah chee $2 and 1 custuard puff $2.2.

Mango muah chee ice-cream, not bad, but the muah chee not like Taiwan's standard and 1 pc for $2 damn exp ! No time to take photo of the custuard puff cos my mum wolfed it down LOL !

More muah chee ice-cream !!!
Next we went near Queen Street to purchase dry goods. Then had lunch. The hawker centre previously opposite Albert Complex had been relocated there. Had my sister favourite Satay Bee Hoon.

Satay sauce, bee hoon, bean sprouts, kang kong, prawns, cockles
